The 1st SENTIATECH Congress: Detection, Measurement and Control of Emerging Risks will be held in the city of Valencia, Spain from 21-22 October 2025.
Organized by the SENTIATECH Technological Platform and with the technical secretariat led by ITENE, the congress brings together a multidisciplinary Scientific Committee of leading experts. It focuses on advancing robust solutions for early detection and management of emerging chemicals, and contaminants while promoting the development of safe and sustainable design.
The abstract submission is open until June 15th, 2025.
This event is an ideal platform to share results from EU projects and contribute to the ongoing dialogue on framework implementation. Participants will have the opportunity to present their research and engage in vital discussions with leading experts in in sensing technologies, advanced data analysis, nanomaterials and advanced materials manufacturing, food safety and prevention regulations.
The programme will feature plenary lectures by leading specialists, round table discussions, market insights and legislative developments in 3 parallel sessions addressing different technological perspectives and approaches:
SSbD Session: Industrial Challenges and Solutions to Implement the Safe & Sustainable by Design (SSbD) Framework.
Emerging Contaminants: Risk Assessment, Monitoring, and Control of PFAS, Micro and Nanoplastics.
New Monitoring Technologies in Food Safety: Discover advancements in analytical and sensor-based approaches for food safety.
In addition, there will be a poster exhibition to facilitate dialogue between researchers, as well as meeting spaces with sponsors presenting their key capabilities and contributions to the industry.
